Study visit to the Institute for Nuclear Research, HAS
Rangam Neha Venkatesh, NaMeS PhD student, participated in the study visit at the Institute for Nuclear Research, Hungarian Academy of Sciences. She visited two laboratories: Laboratory of Electron Spectroscopy & Materials Science and Laboratory of Nuclear Physics. She had the opportunity to get acquainted with such equipment as:
a) XPS (inbuilt with XAES, REELS, AES)
b) SNMS (inbuilt with XPS, STM, LEIC, ISS)
c) Monochromatic XPS
d) Electrospray Technique
e) Sample coater (SEM coater for gold and carbon coating)
