NPM-5 & PAOT-6

Ayesha Khan, NaMeS Ph.D. student, participated in the 5th international conference on New Photocatalytic materials for environment energy and sustainability and the 6th international conference on photocatalytic and advanced oxidation technologies for the treatment of water, air, soil, and surfaces.These international conferences are designed to bring together interested professionals from universities, research institutions, and industry to exchange information, views, experiences, and perspectives. Ayesha presented an oral talk: “TiO2/Chitosan-Lignin Photocatalyst for the Selective Oxidation of 5-Hydroxymethyl-2-furaldehyde” (Ayesha Khan, Michael Goepel, Juan Carlos Colmenares, Roger Gläser). Attending NPM-5 and PAOT-6 conference was a great opportunity to share her research ideas and get new ideas, meeting with other groups working in the same area. Moreover, the scientific talks and lectures delivered on different fields of renewable energy harvesting were extremely valuable to broaden her knowledge and get a new perspective on science.
