How to publish in internal journals and maximise your impact in the field - WORKSHOP
On the 11th-12th June, 2018 the 2-Day Author Training Academy was held in the assembly hall of the IPC PAS. The workshop discussed how to write a manuscript and successfully submit it to a journal. The training was addressed to all IPC researchers and in particular to the NaMeS and IDS PhD students. The meeting was attended by ca. 80 people.
The CONIN workshop
Carolina Cruz Cardona and Horacio Serna, NaMeS PhD students, participated in the CONIN workshop that took place in Madrid. The workshop was organized as a part of the Horizon 2020 RISE project "Effects of confinement on inhomogeneous systems" (CONIN).
Xth WINTER BIOPHYSICAL WORKSHOP
Airit Agasty and Ying Zhou, NaMeS PhD students, participated in the Xth WINTER BIOPHYSICAL WORKSHOP, organized by the Molecular Biophysics Division of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan.
5th MCAA General Assembly & Annual Conference
Faria Khan, NaMeS PhD student, took part in the election and voting at MCAA General Assembly. On day one she participated in several networking events and workshops that took place including ERC grant writing, career development and mentoring sessions, career choices and development.
Marie Curie Alumni Association General Assembly and Annual Conference 2018
Kumar Sarang, NaMeS Ph.D. student, participated in the “MarieCurie Alumni Association General Assembly and Annual Conference 2018” at KU Leuven, Campus Gasthuisberg, Leuven, Belgium.
Aerosol Particle Organic Analytical Training course
Kumar Sarang, NaMeS Ph.D. student, participated in the “Aerosol Particle Organic Analytical Training course” organized by Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research and supported by EUROCHAMP-2020.
2nd report meeting of the NaMeS project
On the 18th January, 2018 the 2nd report meeting of the NaMeS project was held in the assembly hall of the IPC PAS. PhD students of Interdisciplinary NAnoscience School: from phenoMEnology to applicationS presented results of their projects in short, five-minutes presentations.
Web Summit 2017
Mahsa Sahebdivani, NaMeS PhD student, participated in Web Summit 2017, the largest tech conference in the world.
1st report meeting of the NaMeS project
On the 3rd October, 2017 the 1st reporting meeting of the NaMeS project was held at the assembly hall of IPC. PhD students of “Interdisciplinary NAnoscience School: from phenoMEnology to applicationS” presented the ideas, initial results of their projects in a form of short, five-minutes presentations.
